What is Evaporated Milk?

If we add 60% of the water content from fresh milk we can get evaporated milk. It is something that I use the most in my daily life. It enhances the flavor profile, providing a velvety texture and amazing smoothness to the coffee beans.

Due to the heating process it becomes slightly caramelized. You must be thinking why we are adding evaporated milk in the coffee. The biggest reason for it is that I have extended shelf life as compared to milk.

Due to the absence of water content we can store it for a longer time. Evaporated milk can also be added in many other dishes because it enhances the texture and flavor.

One more thing I want to mention here! Don’t be confused between condensed milk and evaporated milk. Condensed milk is more sweet in taste while evaporated milk is unsweetened.

Pick up an evaporated milk container of your liking. Evaporated milk can be found in the baking or canned goods aisles of most supermarkets. If you want the flavor of milk without any sugar added, unsweetened evaporated milk is what you’re looking for.

Coffee:

Choose the coffee that best suits your tastes. Choose coffee beans or ground coffee roasted to your liking, whether that’s the aggressiveness of a dark roast, the balance of a medium roast, or the nuanced nuances of a light roast. Brewing equipment including coffee makers, French presses, pour-over methods, and espresso machines are all acceptable.
